SEASON OPENER AUTHOR TALK & BOOK SIGNING – Valerie Brugh will be in character and will read excerpts from the memoirs of Mary Johnston, which was recently published. Mary was born in Buchanan, Virginia in 1870, and was an American author known for her historical romance novels and being a women’s rights advocate. She was one of America’s best-selling authors during her writing career and had three silent films adapted from her novels.
