SPRING MUSTER 1861


SPRING MUSTER 1861 by members of the 60th Virginia Infantry demonstrating enlistment, muster, and drill. The Civil War has just begun and there is a great deal of fanfare for what was thought to be a 90-day war. Camp will be open on Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. Ladies will be in attendance to serve sandwiches, desserts, and lemonade to the soldiers. This is the 165th anniversary of the start of the American Civil War.

FREE EVENT: donations are gratefully accepted. Light refreshments will be available.
